Foundation

The foundation has been completed! The form has been set, plumbing in and the concrete poured. We have the beginning shape of the house. Odd shaped as it is, we have a shape nonetheless.



The reason it is shaped this way is due to the City's requirements and space restrictions. I won't go into detail on these requirements because I would only be guessing. I do know that the north side of the house, the long straight side, had to be a certain distance from the fence. The west side is a straight line as well and had to be a certain distance from that fence. Mom is standing on the south side, in the picture above, and it is angled because its roof line must remain a certain distance from the roof line of Susie/Marty's house. Last but not least, the east side borders the pool and can only come out so far. There ya go.

This will be the most odd-shaped house people have seen. I believe the shape is what will give it character. The future occupant of this house is a character too so they match!
